Njoro Central Secondary school was started in 2006 as a day mixed secondary school by Njoro DEB primary school with parents efforts through the assistance of the member of parliament with constituency development fund (CDF). In 2008 TSC posted two teachers, the current Principal Mr. Issac .T. Ndegwa and the deputy principal Ms. Judith Kaye. By then the school dad two single stream classes form 1,2 and 3 with a total student population of 54 equal gender.
Since then to date, 2013 Njoro central has progressively increased in both student population, staff and infrastructure. The current student population stands at 232 of equal gender. Form one is single stream while form 3 and 4 are single streamed. There are 10 TSC teachers and two BOG employed teachers and 6 support staff. Steadily Njoro central has strived to register impressive Kenya Certificate of secondary Education (results).
